Randomly stopped in after a baseball game at the High School and surprised the staff with a large group (16) and everything was great! They stepped up and service was awesome, food was all out in great time and was good. View all feedback.
What Diane Roberts doesn't like about Carlee's:
Screw this place. I went in with my small dog and after sitting at the bar for 15 min the waitress finally spoke to me. I was told only service dogs. I asked about a patio and in a condescending tone was told if that's what I want with an eyeroll. I go to patio and there's a couple with a super big dog off leash. It chased my dog and I and I fell and now have a swollen knee. So much for the relaxing lunch. Never agai... View all feedback.

The sign is always eye catching when driving by, especially in the evening.Though it usually looks quiet and even closed from the outside, it was lively on the inside on a Sunday night.Music is not loud and obnoxious, and bar seating was spacious and plentiful. The bar tender acknowledged me And made my drink and took my order.I didn 't see cocktail prices on the menu so I imagined I would get charged some exotic desert prices but I really only got charged like $7!I had an old fashioned and it was strong and well made. The pizza was not flavourful but it was a good size. I added pineapple and mushrooms on mine. You can tell in the picture that my topping just sat on top so it 's like eating pizza and having the topping flavors on the side.Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The bar tender does not bother you and everyone else looks to be enjoying their time too. It 's a good place to stop by for some drinks!
Fun bar in Borrego Springs center of town. Didn’t eat here but honestly the food looked really good-definitely better than what you’d expect in a small town bar. Sizzling steaks. Cozy community vibe. Live music on Saturday nights and to note- the kitchen closes at 9pm but the actual bar stays open til 2am on weekends and around 11pm on weeknights. So don’t be scared by Google Maps’ hours listing. Pool table was covered by a cloth when we were visiting- not sure when/if it’s available to play. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome
Huge menu, delicious food, clean bathrooms and the lady’s room was very big and had a nice chair next to the toilet which would make it very easy to use it as a nursing room if you’re travelling with a breastfed infant. We arrived around 30 minutes before closing and asked if they were still serving food and if they’d rather we take it to go but they seated us and let us order which was very kind of them. Vegetarian options: My vegetarian mother got the spinach dip and loved it!
One of my favorite places to stop by and visit, good food and drinks and great burgers! Super cozy and friendly.
