The former Olympic skier is an exceptionally entertaining host and has the booming laugh of Waluigi, despite his name. Borovetz is not home to many establishments where you can relax without being heckled into a sleazy strip club, so White Magic is a true sanctuary. Accounts between ski instructors conflict on whether Mario actually competed in the Olympics, but our party chose to believe him for his charm and always making us feel welcome.

The absolute best bit is t... read more Fantastic bar with great food, good prices and amazing atmosphere, had an amazing New Years Eve and always made to feel very welcome. The absolute best bit is the private ski lessons offered by the owner Christo Angelov. It was 2nd time skiing for us and my wife was pretty nervous, this was soon relaxed due to Christo’s amazing way with people and his vast experience of skiing and teaching. By the end of our holiday we had accomplished so much more and all thanks to our teacher, see you next year for more lessons

My wife and children have advanced in th... read more White Magic bar and ski school is the best in Borovets, always feel welcome, so friendly, great food, great atmosphere. My wife and children have advanced in their skiing so much from the lessons they have had with Christo and Lora, one of the main reasons we go back to Borovets each year.
