Highly recommend seeking this place out if you are a scone aficionado like myself! Had a great coffee too and the adjoining homewares store ticked all the boxes. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Town and Country:
My wife and I decided to take a long Sunday walk, she suggested the anniversary trail and the coffee place that was at what was previously Crittendens Nursery. Not wanting to put a dampener on things I agreed, but my last memory of this place...More View all feedback.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this cafe connected to the nursery. The quinoa brown rice salad I had was both healthy and delicious. The coffee was fantastic and the smashed avocado was beautiful. I also had a great time shopping at the store next door after my brunch.
Our coffees and fresh juices were promptly served, setting the stage for a delightful brunch. The service at Town and Country is fast, efficient, and incredibly friendly, with attentive staff who make you feel right at home. The Eggs Benedict with croquettes were seasoned to perfection and bursting with flavor. The crispy exterior of the croquettes provided a delicious contrast to the poached eggs, and the Hollandaise sauce was exceptional. Everything was expertly balanced, making this cafe classic a standout dish. Another highlight was the delectable French toast, topped with a poached pear, fairy floss, berries, cream, and syrup. The texture of the toast was delightful, and the dish was not overly sweet, making it a perfect breakfast option. It's definitely a dish I would happily order again. A visit to Town and Country is a special experience. The incredible food, relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, and friendly staff make it a truly enjoyable place to dine. It's no surprise that many regulars consider this beautiful cafe their second home.
We recently visited a charming cafe in Balwyn that has been catering to families and friends for the past 6 years, serving fantastic breakfast and lunch dishes. The cafe has a beautiful exterior and plenty of seating inside. We particularly enjoyed the French Toast with poached pear, which was a standout dish. The Pork Croquettes topped with eggs Benedict were also delicious. The Breakfast Brioche was another great option. We highly recommend a visit to this cafe soon. The staff is lovely, and it's clear that the business is run with passion and friendliness.
We were invited to Town and Country today which was a lovely little cafe nestled in a nursery. I couldn’t believe how busy it was particularly given it is quite a sizeable space. I enjoyed a chai latte as we awaited our order.<br/ <br/ I went for my typical smashed avocado which was very enjoyable and my dining companion had the beef burger which looked very appetising. This doesn’t come with chips so make sure you order them separately if you are feeling hungry.<br/ <br/ Our third dish today was the yummy French toast with a perfectly poached pear. The vanilla mascarpone went brilliantly here, really nicely balanced. This was a beautifully presented dish and equally delicious. Great little spot
Just had coffee and cake. Scones, jam and cream were wonderful. Although food and coffee were nice the place could do with a good clean. Staff behind the food counter could have been nicer they seemed more interested in serving people placing a take away. Could do with a sign advising it is table service.
