Part of our local eateries along Whitehorse Road. We generally eat in as I hate cold food and you do get a real plate and cutlery. In summer because of the evaporative air conditioning the wood tables and benches appear sticky. Despite these changes, the food quality remains consistent. The lightly fried fish is perfectly cooked and juicy, the chips and potato cakes are delicious, and the whitebaits are always tasty. The fish and chips are still reasonably priced and satisfying. However, the lack of patrons on a Friday night and the increase in takeout orders have taken away the soul of the place. The empty fridge and absence of Serendipity Ice Creams and basic condiments contribute to the loss of ambiance. The seaside decor is still present, but the seaside feel is no longer there. To improve the overall experience, the new proprietor should consider rearranging the layout to bring back the relaxing seaside atmosphere. Moving the Bain-marie and cash register to allow access to the fridge would be a good start. We hope to see these changes implemented for a total fish and chips dining experience in the future. Best wishes to the new owner. -Friday, 28/01/2016

Not a place to go if you are in a hurry.
The very first time when this place was opened, the food, the customer service and the decor was very appealing. But for some reason after a certain, there must have been a change of ownership or management; as the owners who were once Caucasian, are now Asian. The quality has dropped significantly, but price has increased. If you're after a snack or something quick; then this place is it. However, if you're after quality; then I'm sure there are others in the area that are better. We were here for lunch because we visit the area quite regularly, and some one in our family wanted fish flakes.
Always consistent with their fish, and a great place to eat in.They will serve on plates and have cutlery for you also. They do a lot of take-away, so it is popular with the locals. If you like good fish and other seafood, certainly try here.
