My husband and I decided to go to this restaurant as it is a local one that we had not tried before. The food was wonderful, distinct flavours with a modern twist and with decent sized servings. The service couldn’t be faulted, the price was...More View all feedback.
What AMA M doesn't like about Phayathai Thai Restaurant:
Visited the place for a meal on 25/11/17. Hospitable owners. We ordered the grill fish and vegetarian noodles. The fish was overcooked and tasteless. The noodles was bland and below average. The ambiance is good for a drink and a chat. View all feedback.
Very nice Thai food in Blackburn south. Definitely will recommend to everyone. Staff are helpful. Old style restaurant
This place is soooooo Good! The food is delicious, We have been coming here for 3 years , This is a definitely local Favorite
Very delicious Authentic Thai foods. Great generous serve, great price and great services. They got 5 stars Restaurant award more than 10 consecutive years in a row. I love regular takeaway and Dine in here.
Nice decor, I had to have a chuckle at the recycled Thai Airways cutlery I was left wondering how this was acquired! Service was pleasant, with the overall atmosphere a little subdued which I didn't mind. Prices are quite reasonable, especially when considered in the context of the decent serving sizes. They certainly didn't skimp on the chicken in my stir fried dish. The menu is fairly extensive, with the food reasonably authentic, but still a bit dulled down for local tastes which I don't like. There was next to no spiciness to my chilli/basil stir fry. This was your typical suburban Thai restaurant wanting to impress with the presentation and not wanting to offend with any strong tastes. Value for money and pleasant, though for true Thai flavours I'll continue to have to go to either Kao Gang or Sabb Der (used to be Mee Dee) in Springvale.
Located in a row of restaurants with car parking in front it is a hidden gem. The operators have not gone over the top with busy decor like some Asian places. It has a good balance of styling which is pleasing to the eye. The menu is good with authentic Thai dishes as my Thai companion can attest to. Had satay chicken skewers, Tom yum seafood, chef special seafood in curry sauce and coconut rice. All beautiful to taste without burning the mouth but with enough zing in the Tom yum to make it authentic. Service was very good with perfect English and prompt. This was my 5 th visit and has never disappointed.
