Macedon Square Chicken & Salad Bar

Another Sunday night, too busy (or lazy) to shop so off to Macedon for takeaway roast chicken, creamy scalloped potatoes and a salad, all for $26, problem solved. What makes this place different is the super friendly and engaging staff, particularly the Asian couple who seem to there most times I go. While they never seem to run out of cooked Bannockburn chickens, the potatoes and salads seem to run out around 7pm. PS I haven't seen a more consistently clean chicken shop.

We used to frequent this chicken shop however, over the years as it has changed owners the quality has dropped and the price increased. We very rarely purchase from here now as it is just too expensive for a family of 6. However, it is the only chicken shop in this area so ok to fall back on occasionally

Love the Chook here and great chips and Salad. All fresh ingredients that haven't been sitting all day and fried over and over again. Average price for good tasting food.

Happy and friendly staff , Great quality food at a very reasonable price. They have great fried rice and a very hearty chicken soup.

Hands down worst chicken meal me and the kids have ever eaten. Dried up chicken, undercooked floury chips, ancient sour salads. Awful.
