What User likes about Hooking Bar&Restaurant:
We didn't know quite what to expect in booking this restaurant.Both its unusual name and the fact it was a Chinese restaurant made us unsure.What we found was a spacious restaurant with comfortable accessible seats,a place easy to have a conversation without intrusive background noise and superb food that was inexpensive.We had the cheapest banquet at $36 which was quite excellent.So highly recommend for a visit.And... Don't order satay chicken on skewers - the sauce was watery no peanut flavour - the special fried rice was anything but special. It wasn't a busy night - staff unconcerned with comments , perhaps this will help. Couldn't order banquet for one - it doesn't say minimum 2 on menu. Won't be back. View all feedback.
