This has been my mum's favourite local chinese restaurant for many years. So when her birthday came around, it was the obvious choice for a celebration family dinner.We were a party of six.Three of us had short soup.All of us had san choy bowWe ordered 4 mains. Satay combination birds nest (my favorite )Beef with black bean sauceSweet and sour chicken in batterChichen and cashew nutsAnd 3 serves of special friend rice And four bottles of soft drink.Total cost. $26 per head. Very reasonable. Every dish was delicious. If I have to pick something that was not really great, its that the entree and soup both come together. It would be better one after the other. My sister-in-law went as far as to say, "the best she has ever tasted".The owner is a wonderful host. Very friendly and attentive. She will look after you.We have been coming here for many years, and hope to be able to do so for many more.

I have been coming to this restaurant since 1973 and even though it has gone through 3 owners its always keep its standards high . The food is great whatever you may choose on the Menu along with friendly staff and an added bonus of being able to bring what ever drinks you want with no corkage charges . Try it you won't be disappointed .

Regular Visitor with Mum - veges well cooked not undercooked which suits Mum - free prawn crackers at start - we mainly have seafood or chicken - very good - good service too

Went with fussy in-laws, expecting a few problems- but no, everything was perfect.We chose the $28 banquet and most of our 8 could not fit in dessert. Fantastic service and food and NO corkage! Did I mention that it is strictly BYO. All comments were positive and 'just like the old days' Chinese restaurants.
