Deco - Boroondara

Had lunch on Monday with a couple of colleagues. Apparently menu has changed and I had the Panko crumbed chicken with ice burg salad. Didn't wow me but it was good and fresh. Colleague had the lamb and vegetables and that looked great. Service is ok. I wouldn't come here for dinner but would recommend for a quick lunch.

A slightly dated restaurant opposite the Tivoli. Meals were average, the smashed avocado was the better of the two. Chicken Parma was overwhelmed by the tomato and salad dressing way to heavy dressing for my taste. Staff struggled with coordination at not a really busy time. Problem might be supervision. Overall, doubt we would return.

If you need to have dinner prior to crossing the road for a movie, then Deco has an array of nice food for you to choose from. Menu has shrunk since a previous visit but still adequate choice of pizza, pasta, salads and others. Overall a good choice for a quick pre-show meal.

Arrived early for our movie at the Rivoli across the road so had coffee and cake here. Good move! Great chocolate brownie (gluten free) served with vanilla icecream followed by a 'tall' cappuccino. Balmy night and we were able to sit inside at the front with the windows open watching the world go by on Camberwell Rd. Young but very helpful and friendly staff. Quick service. Reasonable prices. Plan to return for dinner next time.

This is our go to place for dinner. We go before and after movies or meet friends for dinner. The calamari is brilliant as is the fish and chips and any other meal we have had here. It's not "fine dinning" but it's fresh and easy.
