My wife and I often share 1 grilled fish, chips, 2 potato cakes, 2 dim sims and 1 hamburger with the lot. .It seems to be getting harder and harder to find good quality Fish and Chips so we were very happy after we found Belmore Fish and Chippery as they had high quality at a reasonable price. I say had, because in the last few months, they have dropped the ball and the batter is now thicker around the potato cakes, fish looks smaller, chips are not as tasty. I hope they improve as we love to eat good quality fish and chips

This joint is really worth a small detour on your wanderings. Always clean and tidy, they have a huge selection of fresh fish on offer. The portions are huge and their chips in their quality and quantity beat so far every fancy hipster burger shop in Melbourne I've tried (and I tried a few...).
