This restaurant is highly popular among locals and is always crowded! The service may have been a bit disorganized, but the delicious food more than made up for it. The added bonus of being able to bring your own drinks made the experience even better. View all feedback.
What Jessie Barrows doesn't like about Bangkok Terrace:
We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and it was very busy and incredibly noisy which was off putting. We had a table for four which had two chairs and two stools I guess you'd call them, in any case they didn't have any backs on them and so for of us not very comfortable. The restaurant is BYO which is good but for someone who wasn't drinking the only choice was soft drink when all I wanted was some plain m... View all feedback.
We met friends here for an early dinner. No problem with noise. The food was fresh, the service friendly. We enjoyed - The Barramundi, Steak Laos, Chicken Curry and Fried Rice. Could not fault either the food or the service. Will definitely be back.
A very popular Thai restaurant and with good reason. The food is great and the service always friendly. There is no problem with parking. It can get quite noisy when full which can make an early dinner a little more enjoyable.
Having read a range of reviews I went with an open mind, the restaurant didn't disappoint. The menu is not strictly Thai with some Malay dishes thrown in, a positive in my view.Making the booking was fine, the venue was a little cramped in terms of seating arrangements but nothing unbearable, service was perfectly fine and attentive.Shared a range of starters all of which satisfied: Curry Puffs, Fish Cakes, Salt
My wife and I have been having take-away from Bangkok Terrace at least once a month for the past 3 years. The food is almost always very good. Our 'go to' dishes are Penang Curry Beef (very mild for my wife, which they mostly get spot on), and Pad See Ewe. Secondary favourites are Pad Thai, and Salt
This Thai restaurant in the suburbs of Melbourne -Hawthorn -deserves to do well. It was a warn night so we decided to eat outside where it was cooler and enjoyed the sight and sound of the trams passing buy but best of all was the food. Clean fresh flavours and they should be congratulated! We started with prawns in beetle leaf and crunchy peanuts (great start) For mains we shared the Chicken Pad See Ewe and Organic Mushrooms with Silken Tofu. SO fresh SO delicious. We shared a desert of Tapioca Pudding and coconut- LOVED it all and will definitely return.
