Five of us eat here for under a e100.Full of locals we were looked after royally by the chef/owner. Lovely pizzas beers wines.Highly recommended.
I had a family dinner here and I really appreciate the food. The place isn't gorgeous, in fact it looks like a normal and boring pizzeria. However, the service hospitality is awesome, friendly and cozy. Then the meals: tasty, rich, not greasy, mixing local flavors and Italian tradition. Don't expect Japanese plating perfection, or French snooty arrangements: here it delivers what promised, without frills. So, we tried ravioli, meat and pasta: all good, quantity OK and quality above the average, at a regular price (about 20/25eur pax, drinks included). Top spot is the dessert: the chef prepares a petit gâteau entered in my top 3 list. Worldwide. Advice for the manager: it is a pity to be rejected if your restaurant is half empty because of the next hour reservations. It is a bit brush, considering where you are... First in, first served will be way better, you will get more customers... my 2 cents.
Its probably not the most romantic place you can imagine but the owners and their crew tried hard to make us happy. The food was tasty and the fact that most of the guests were local people means a lot. We would come again but probably would choose different food. All the local people ordered the bistecca fiorentina, which looked gorgeous. Our stewed donkey and filet of pork were tasty but nothing special. As a starter we had chosen the ham of cinghiale which was disappointing. The meat didn't tasted very fresh. As several comments on this site state, all the desserts were fantastic. They were so good that I even ordered two different choices. Both the millefeuille and the semifredo were gorgeous. We will come back but would pick different food.
