Reservations are practically mandatory, as the restaurant is very small and seats only a few people. There are two dinner sittings: 7:15 PM and 9:15 PM. We chose the former. The atmosphere is immediately welcoming: it 's one of those places where you feel at home, with a family atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. We opted for two tasting menus, which included a selection of cured meats, sciatt, pizzoccheri, polenta with spare ribs and salami, and finally dessert. Everything was truly delicious, with large plates and authentic flavors. The price was absolutely fair: we paid €35 ​​each. I definitely recommend this place, especially to those looking for traditional cuisine in a warm and informal atmosphere.

We found it by chance, and since we tried it, we'll be making it a regular stop every time we visit Bormio. They welcomed us wonderfully, and we were even able to bring our big dog along! Super!

We had the taster menu and it didn’t disappoint. The food and drinks served are locally sourced and authentic. The restaurant is cosy and has a homely feel to it. If you’re looking for a real taste of local mountain cuisine I would really recommend Vecchia Combo!
