The Bench Novara - Borgomanero

As soon as we entered we were greeted with friendliness and warmth by the attentive and kind staff. The chef, sitting at the table, prepared an artichoke pâté for us as an entrée, and then we were offered a tuna tartar, with eggnog sauce, SPECTACULAR! We encountered a kindness and availability that are difficult to find nowadays, especially associated with quality. Modern and special place, perfect for a pleasant meal. Really great pairings between creams and meat/fish and delicious pistachio pesto! Fair prices and excellent quality, very good pasta and SUPERLATIVE fish!! The tuna was truly a delight, I have never eaten anything tastier in my life; soft and crunchy prawns, with a spectacular flavour, nothing compared to the usual and well-known prawns; soft and delicate fish and meat tartare; octopus with an exceptionally good sauce; delicate and excellent pates; CRAZY octopus, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, tasty, on burrata cream, delicate but delicious, combined with currants, brilliant! I really recommend taking fish, because it is a superhuman thing, especially tuna. The desserts are also very good, all homemade. Price for coffee, cover charge and water were really excellent, we ate like in a Michelin star restaurant and paid relatively little!! We came from Milan, but the welcome and quality will definitely make us return. We also took the 5 fish samples, a dish that I recommend EVERYONE to take, unfortunately due to a problem it was not possible to fry, but they were able to brilliantly compensate and serve equally tasty and excellent dishes. The price of these last 5 tastings is excellent in relation to the quantity and quality, and although I don't love fish, well they made me fall in love with them. Spectacular, really congratulations!
