The building and the facilities of this hotel are very beautiful. there were many things that spoiled the experience. unfortunately the bathroom (especially the... read more The building and the facilities of this hotel are very beautiful. there were many things that spoiled the experience. unfortunately the bathroom (especially the loo) was not clean when we arrived. the check-out should be up to 11 o'clock. when we came to our room at 10.40 a.m., the tickets were already blocked.

I recommend real estate if you commit to offer something, please do this. breakfast service was very good. also have good maismule and cadjau fish very tasty.

We had a problem with our booking as they had put our children age 14 and 10) on a different floor. We had asked for us to be beside eash other. None of the staff seemed happy and breakfast was not great for the rest of the family. I had to buy and bring my own gluten free food. Not a good vacation hotel, fine for business stop. The location was good for us as we travelled around Iceland. Parking is limited at the front of the hotel. The B59 sign is missing from the front of the building so the hotel was not obvious to us.

I was amazed to discover that it only has a 3-star rating because I was truly impressed with every aspect of our stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was outstanding. The beds were also very comfortable, and we appreciated the fact that the windows could be opened to let in fresh air (a feature that is not common in every hotel on the island). Our view from the room was breathtaking! I highly recommend this hotel.

Despite a big... read more Simon is a standout member of the hotel staff at B59, along with the other amazing employees. He was extremely helpful during my check-in process. Despite a big party happening, I had just arrived after only 3 hours of sleep from a long flight and Simon quickly placed me in a peaceful room. He also offered assistance with various other things. I hope the hotel recognizes what an asset he is. Simon took it upon himself to make sure we were happy and at ease. He did an excellent job. I would definitely return to this hotel because of the top-notch service provided by Simon.
