This restaurant is a hidden gem. There were four of us who went for drinks and dinner, and the service was fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly, and the food was exceptional. The steaks were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. All of the appetizers were delicious and truly impressive. It's a wonderful place—definitely give it a try!
I absolutely love this restaurant! I started with the lobster bisque, which was delicious, and then enjoyed the fillet paired with a side of gnocchi. The atmosphere is fantastic, and they serve excellent cocktails at the bar. The staff is attentive, and my server went through a list of tempting specials that made my mouth water. I've been telling everyone I know about this place, and they're all eager to check it out!
We began our meal with the French onion soup and New England clam chowder. The French onion soup boasted a rich blend of flavors with generous amounts of onions, Madeira wine, Parmesan toast, and Gruyere cheese. The clam chowder had a subtle smoky flavor and came with two shells, surpassing any chowder I've had back in Jersey. For our first course, we shared the Bacon Dusted Calamari, which was accompanied by a sweet and tangy sauce and pesto aioli. This dish served as a delightful prelude to what was to follow. For the main course, my date and I chose from the daily specials that our server, George, had enthusiastically recited. She opted for the bone-in strip steak with Bleu cheese gnocchi, while I went for the bone-in filet mignon, recommended by George, along with a side of French onion potatoes. Chef Zack Melker has truly elevated the art of steak cooking. The combination of a perfect dry rub and searing (rather than grilling), followed by serving the steaks on a 500-degree plate with fresh rosemary and thyme, was an extraordinary experience for my taste buds. Pairing this magnificent main course with a luscious Cabernet was legendary. Throughout the evening, our server was attentive, and Chef Zack made several personal visits to our table, making us feel like family. Bravo to the entire team! We will definitely be back—thank you for a perfect night!
It's been a bit since we were in Toscano. We could get some seats at the bar... Whoot! Food and service never disappoints. A must if you are in the area of Exit 7!
Intimate unique steak house with excellent Italian dishes. Perfect for special occasions. Get a reservation as it has limited tables. Outstaning service.
