One afternoon I went to downtown and found Smilie’s. I went with hopes on vegan ice. I was pleasantly surprised that they actually have some vegan options. This day, a almond bark was vegan ice. They said they were trying to keep at least one option available at any time. View all feedback.
Friendly service, generous and affordable, tasty. I liked the Chocolate Hazelnut, but my wife preferred the coffee. Lot of kids flavors (Cookie Monster) and ices (blue raspberry) not a foodie destination. For fancy flavors, you’ll need to pay more elsewhere.
Nicely located in the heart of Bordentown City. Amazing homemade ice cream. Recently offering freshly brewed coffee and bagels.
One of my favorite things about living in Bordentown is Smilie’s Sweet Spot. While the ice cream is delicious, (I highly recommend the “William Powell” with hot fudge, peanut butter sauces, and peanut butter cups), my husband and I keep coming back for the locally brewed coffee and fresh baked goods. We’ve both become addicted to the flaky apple turnovers and gooey sticky buns, not to mention the chewy everything bagels. Even the dog loves to stop by during our morning walks, to get her cookie from the friendly and welcoming owner, baker, and staff!
Great flavors. They usually have one sugar free and one vegan option too which is nice. It’s located in a nice area on Farnsworth Avenue and you can walk around and enjoy the lovely scenery while eating your ice cream.
