Friendly service, generous and affordable, tasty. I liked the Chocolate Hazelnut, but my wife preferred the coffee. Lot of kids flavors (Cookie Monster) and ices (blue raspberry) not a foodie destination. For fancy flavors, you’ll need to pay more elsewhere. View all feedback.
What Jessica Brabham doesn't like about Smilie's Sweet Spot:
We first went to rhe other location and were disappointed because it wasn't a bakery, the lady told the other location was a bakery so we went. There was very little parking but we found a spot several blocks away. When we went inside it was nothing like the pictures. Only 4 choices other than ice cream... they were out of everything we wanted. We wanted artisan cupcakes and we found super market quality cupcakes (dr... View all feedback.

Besides getting a free pup cup, they were great with letting us know how their sundaes worked when I hadn't even thought about how big they might be (I only wanted one scoop).
It was early in the morning with heavy rain. This cafe is the closest one to get some coffee. The town is very quiet but I'm glad this place is open.
5 stars all the way. Reasonable prices, great selection- it ain 't just ice cream! We stopped by for lunch as they 've recently been promoted a variety of soup and bread combos in the $4-$5 range. We each went with the beef stew, with boo choosing traditional baguette and I went for the garlic bread. Bread was warmed up in the back quickly as we waited. I mean fast! Great crispy outside with a soft inside, not stale at all. Garlic bread wasn 't like the dollar tree Texas toast ****, rather it was more (dare I say) artisanal. Not a heavy garlic flavor and no fake butter on it. It had a few roasted cloves within the baguette. Quite good in some olive oil I dipped it in at home. The stew? Much better than you 'd expect from an ice cream shop. Admittedly, it had more of a gumbo consistency, but the flavor was very good. We were both quite satiated. For sweets later, boo got a very nice looking slice of baklava for $2. I went with the crumb cake for the same. Verdict is pending, but it looked good! $13 for 2 lunches and desserts later, not bad at all these days for the quality. Their ice cream display looked awesome, and they have a fridge with turkey hill tea beverages and some slices of what looked like cheese cake. Also ice cream sandwiches either singles for around $2 each or 6 packs. Coffee is on offer in the AM, the prices escape me but they were reasonable. Surely better than the garbage many others purvey. There 's a small parking lot around the corner and usually some spots near the post office too if you have trouble on farnsworth ave. You can 't go wrong with smilies. I 'll definitely be back! Reasonable prices, great quality and service. You can 't ask for anything more.
Came here the other night after a nice dinner with friends across the way. I went in thinking I wasn't going to get anything, but to my happy surprise there were non dairy options! I tried the vegan almond bark and it was SO GOOD! The young ladies behind the counter are very sweet and helpful, and the prices are incredibly reasonable! I would definitely come back again whenever I'm in town. Please make sure you tip these ladies well. Thanks so much for having an option for those of us that can't or don't eat dairy. Even having one delicious option besides ice is amazing
