Our Grubhub driver took the wrong pizza they sent their own driver from the restaurant to our hotel 20 min from them t bring our pizza we got to keep the wrong pizza, The pizza, sub chicken scampi where amazing!!! What Josh Pepple doesn't like about Palermo's:
There were 5 open tables but we and another couple had to wait 15 minutes. Also a group of 6 showed up 5 minutes after we arrived. They were asked if they called ahead and said no but were seated immediately, while we and another couple had to wait for a table to open up. Palermo’s is one of the best Italian pizzerias I have been to in NJ. My dad comes from Brooklyn and I have Italian roots so I would say I’m pretty credible to write this review. The pizza is absolutely delicious there’s a reason Dave Portnoy rated it so high ! The owner is the sweetest and the service is always great. The staff have good personalities and make your dining experience very pleasant. My husband and I live nearby and we order from this place once a week. The fact that it’s byob is great because in an economy like this, it’s nice to save a few bucks on drinks and bring your own bottle of wine. If you want traditional classic delicious Italian food, you have got to come by and try!
