XI'AN - Bordeaux

Good reception. I notice that there are often Asians for lunch. The menu is short, the dishes are tasteful, the kitchen is family, this changes Asian restaurants in the neighborhood. Excellent price ratio. Q

I had dinner at the Momoda which is located right next to the XI'AN. The restaurant does not pay a mine, but the reception is very warm. Nothing very Asian on the decoration side, we would rather believe in an old French house, but in the plate, everything surprises! True traditional Chinese dishes, innovative, succulent. The wine offered to the glass is correct, and the waitress is really adorable! Why look elsewhere while Momoda has everything, in a street where Asian restaurants are not missing.

I went back several times and tested a lot of the card. Especially fresh products, and special know-how at derisory prices. In this sense it's a mess I find. For example fresh house noodles or marinated meat breads, certainly prepared home and it doesn’t look simple, delicious and ... 4 or 5 euros, for small portions but still! The map is succinct but varied, it is appreciable. The entries are quite simple but original, perfect for the curious especially fresh vegetables, and well seasoned. The main dishes at 9 euros are particularly rich, and excellent. I loved the noodles jumped to spicy-sweet minced meat and the soup with meatballs and peanuts. The decor is rather rudimentary but pleasant. The service can be a little long when there is a world, but I find the nice atmosphere in this tiny room especially Chinese customers with friends. Value for money outstanding. I love it.

Very good Chinese cuisine of Xi'an, made house carefully by the chef who is an excellent cook. A lot of nostalgia... Noodles and stuffed bread, a feast every time! The Xi'an restaurant has become my weekly canteen.
