We chose this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. It wasn't busy, in fact we were the only diners at 8.30pm, but other tables joined us later. The service is friendly and prompt, pizzas were ready in ten minutes. The atmosphere is a little lacking as background music comes courtesy of as local radio station, commercials and all. Several locals popped in to collect take away pizzas. The bases are thin and so cook... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Pizzaiolo:
Typical Italian restaurant in France. The pizza and pasta were both fine, but nothing exceptional. The service was cheerful and efficient. Would eat here again, but would not make a point of doing so. View all feedback.
If you are looking for a cheap restaurant, it is at this address that you have to come, but be careful and clear! If you don't pay dear, don't ask for gastronomy or a huge pizza. The dishes served are traditional at the proposed price, no more or less. Pizzas are good with a fine dough and a very normal diameter. If you want an elaborate kitchen, you have to go elsewhere and pay more, this beautiful address is the right franquette! My husband and I went to Bordeaux enjoyed this modest but professional place.
This is a beautiful and uncomplicated pizzeria that also does a good number of other dishes. We went to lunch (12pm-230pm) and there was a reasonable number of diners to save space. The Resto is well located in the west of the city centre and close to Car Parks, Bus and Tram routes. The main station is a little further away. Sandra had the same-named house pizza and I had my usual Spicier Diavolo with a liberal help of piquant olive oil. Added a dish of chips with Mayo and ketchup. I had the tap water, but Sandra has a glass of Kir Mûre that went very well. Food was plentiful and we were both full after one course. No need for dessert. The waitress was charming and very attentive. Too many cheeky guys in France, so a painful smile and a nice word is worth a fortune. Overall, we got what we wanted and drove over the way to Starbucks for a real long coffee. Only in two months. Strong Belgian beer next. Aye. Fraser Sandra, Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland
It is cooked with wood fire and the patio is pleasant and convenient for smokers. Having only tasted pizza, they are honest without being the best in Bordeaux.

Typical Italian décor, friendly welcome and pleasant patio. Besides, pizza is good. Get back!
