It was fabulous! Great wines, delicious food, and fun atmosphere. The boquerones were an amazing value: 3.5 euro for a generous helping of plump, delicious white anchovies, a far cry from the $5 we spent for 5 (yes, 5) tiny filets in Portland, ME upon our return. Anyway, go there, get the boquerones, and live like a local in Bordeaux.

Awesome awesome neighborhood bar packed with locals. Food is small plates and so delicious. Drinks are strong and affordable.
