We liked the look of this place and piled in on the off chance. There 's a mixture of Lebanese and Armenian dishes: M had the vegetarian platter, B the 'Classic Menu ' at 20E. Washed it down with a bottle of Ksara Lebanese wine. Everything was excellent: tabouleh particularly good, as was the vege red pepper puree, nice dips, and meat skewers though not enormous were plenty for me. Total damage less than 60E. Very pl... What Grégoire Picard doesn't like about Cilicie Le:
Probably the worst dining experience ever. We were shown into the dining room next door to the restaurant which meant that the waitress had to bring food from the kitchen next door going out into the street and back! Result cold food kebabs dry and cold. The owner was unhelpful and defensive and certainly didn’t want to hear the criticism. View all feedback.
Prices are okay and we were served very quickly (we asked several things à la carte), but the food overall was not great. Also, the restaurant was pratically empty and the staff was mostly standing by idly, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. I would not recommend it.
Straight forward, small Lebanese restaurant. Food and service was great for us, but I suspect that those arriving after us might have had slow service due to pressure in the kitchen. Food typical east Mediterranean. Lebanese wines. Half bottles available. Good value €67 for 2 incl half bottle.
We were shown into the dining room adjoining the main restaurant by the street, which was ok for the starters which was cold but when the main course arrived it was tepid. When we complained we were asked to see the chef who was insisted on us viewing the raw product. I had no problem with the freshness just the amount of time it was left on the pass, taken outdoors to arrive to us. A very unhappy food experience which was such a shame on our weekend away.
Great Armenian restaurant. The food is amazing and relatively cheap. The Lebanese and Armenian wines are to die. Very friendly staff.
Good quality price
