Was Carolina Márquez at Fourthchild Cafe a mag?
First of all kudos to Fourth Child for being just about the only place in Ipswich open for dining on a Saturday after 12 noon! It is like a ghost town after 12 on a Saturday. Regardless, this place is a shining light - really good food, nice menu with wide choice of options and good beer and wine menu. The serving sizes are generous - my salmon with parsnip mash and cointreau reduction was really good. The service we... View all feedback.

What Sienna Lee dislikes about Fourthchild Cafe:
Had breakfast there recently with friends. The staff were friendly and the service was quick but that is the only good thing about it I paid 23 for burnt pancakes with 3 small pieces of bacon and dry overcooked eggs. Not impressed. To charge... 4.60 for a glass of coke is ridiculous. Certainly not in a rush to go back View all feedback.

Beautiful caffe near some interesting shops in ipswich. we all had a version on the egg-benedict, which was done well, but a bit expensive. coffee was a bit bitter, but a small amount sugar sorted out. I didn't like the black walls, the decoration felt something dated. the service was good, our waiter must have been new, but still have worked well. I would definitely recommend back, especially to try some of the delicious cakes I fed.

This is a fantastic breakfast/lunch spot with a very tasty menu. I would say that this is the best place for a day dinner in ipswich cbd, the atmosphere is very relaxed, but demanding and there is a great selection of things to have. the portions are very satisfying I recommend the stockman’s burger and the big breakfast, if they are very hungry, or one of the cakes! For a lighter meal, the eier benedict is always perfect, or one of the very tasteful healthy salads, if they are after something that is light, but satisfying, and of course the rosti that never disappoints. if they have a sweet tooth, I can't recommend their cake selection enough, especially the wrench limecake and the cherry ripe cheesecake!

A group of 4 friends visited today for a birthday lunch, 3rd July. All meals were average, zucchini corn fritter stack, steak sandwich and 2 seafood chowder. I ate all of my zucchini corn fritters because I was hungry and it wasn't a large meal....My 3 other friends all left half of their meals on the table. Of the seafood chowder they agreed that the salmon was the only tasty part otherwise it was quite bland. Two cocktails were ordered, 1 **** Mary that had so much Tabasco sauce in it that it wasn't palatable and was left at the half way mark on the table. This was mentioned to one of the waitresses who surely could have offered to replace the drink but no replacement was offered. As for the Pina Colada , there was negligible pineapple flavour with cream being the dominant taste and that too was left on the table. At an average of $16 per cocktail it was very disappointing to leave them both unfinished on the table (table 10) I've eaten at Fourthchild a few times before when at the previous location and each time enjoyed my meals as did the people I dined with so I'm perplexed as to what went so terribly wrong this time! When paying our bill we gave feedback to the person at the register while another stood alongside and while they deducted the cost of the **** Mary it was still not a satisfying experience due to their response or rather the lack thereof. It seemed that the young waitresses were inexperienced in dealing with feedback of this type which only added to our frustration. In summary, all four of us agreed that we would not go back again. The pictures attached are what we left on the table

Visited last weekend and came away feeling satisfied and well looked after. It is the place to go in Ipswich for a wonderful dining experience. its like going out in Brisbane with all the choices we have here, in Ipswich. The layout, welcome and service...is spot on. The prices are the same as fine dining in Brisbane, but they earned it. If the bugs and steak meal was say seven dollars cheaper than 45 dollars i would have gone for that but excellent value for the burger and chips. A huge serving for $22-$30. Easy parking, plenty of room for the walker my mum had with us and the music at the right level so we could hear each other talk i would highly recommend this Restaurant for the place to go out in Ipswich.
