Was Bruce Mazibuko at Aunties Cafe a mag?
I loved the friendly staff it made you feel quite at home. Unfortunately i am a sucker for Eggs Benny with bacon and that is all i have ever gotten for breakfast from there. It has never let me down, i also loved the music they play. Would also have to recommend trying the Seafood Chowder i had never had it before and i decided to lash out and try it. I visit Aunties every now and then for some of their home made cake - not many places you can find this. The staff are always very pleasant. Today the young lady who served me was very nice but another staff member had all her time taken up listening to a woman go on at great length, and high volume, about the recent birth of her baby. We have visited this restaurant several times, and today the shift was being run by two very young and seemingly undertrained staff members, which was evident in the service.
This bakery is excellent, possibly the best in Ipswich! We have tried their apple tea cake, pies, tarts, and quiches, and they have all been delicious.
Great little café beautiful cakes, coffee and salads. Staff are so friendly 100 precent of the time and the shop is always clean.
The breakfast at this restaurant includes delicious coffee and a tasty Egg & Bacon Sandwich. It appears to be a popular spot for morning gatherings.
First up love the service , very friendly, adore the food. The only let down for me and my husband is the phone service, most of the time none. Tried calling tonight, no answer phone nobody to answer, so took the chance and went, but of course it was shut. This has not been the first time we have arrived on advertised hours and its shut. I cant tell you how disappointed we are every time this happens, again not the first time. It almost puts me off coming here. We travel nearly half and hour to get there, and I cant tell you how frustrated we are when we are hungry and the shop is closed. All we suggest is get an answer phone and be consistent about the advertised days and hours otherwise you might lose your customers and we do like coming here. We are regulars, but frustrated.
