My son and I end our first meal here and we are thrilled. We were offered two flavors of complementary ice water and we both chose strawberry kiwi and it is refreshing with good taste. I had the moussaka and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted to lick the plate. My son had half the chicken with potatoes that were some of the most delicious we've ever eaten. What Gordon M doesn't like about The Mad Greek:
I had lunch there yesterday. The food was average. There were workers putting tar on the roof. They splattered tar on my car. I've called the restaurant 4 times to inform them about this issue so no one else has to deal with this. No one will call me back. Doesn't speak well for how they care about their customers. We chat one of the owners and she does everything she can to buy locally. Our bill after tax was 22.26. We'll be back.
I just had a snack here. The Gyro and spanakopita are delicious! If you are looking for authentic Greek food, this is your place. Conveniently located at the production crossroads for afternoon snacks.
Gyros were always a favorite of me, but never realized that what I had eaten for years was not authentic until I ate my first gyro at The Mad Greek! Wow, the crispy pork grass with fixations and Tzatziki sauce was delicious! Can't wait to go back and try the Mad Greek's Spanakopita and Baklava. Taste your Italian dishes are also on my agenda! We from my “comfort zone” and were very pleasantly surprised!! I'm sure I'm back!!! Very good food, very nice atmosphere and a wonderful waitress!! I don't think I can say enough good things!! Thanks Harry Troutman for the proposal The Mad Greek!!!
