As Petra said below, the best of the Galway Bay Brewery pubs so far, thanks to that 'local ' feel. Food is great, and nice that it has a slightly different menu to the city pubs in the chain. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, with a good memory for what your friend was drinking (I have a 5 second memory If distracted at all I forget the order :P . And they still have all the board games you expect to find in the Galway Bay Brewery pubs.... with the added bonus of a pool table!!! And last but not least.... great for watching sport. Not only do they have a TV, which the other bars in the chain don 't.... but it is a big one! Nothing better than sitting watching a big screen with a lovely pitcher of craft beer in front of you!

This is a great pub in Blackrock a short walk from the train station. It has a massive selection of craft beers and they serve a really good menu all day as well. The thing that really makes this place original though as it has two sides. The one side is a classic Irish pub with your standard beer selection and the other side has a completely different feel with craft beers and a modern decor. Well worth a visit if you are in Blackrock.

Great local craft beer pub in Blackrock. You couldn't ask for friendlier or more knowledgable staff. Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming with a mixed clientele. The small off licence attached is very handy too! Definitely check it out if you're around the place.
