What Gretel Buck doesn't like about Restaurant Cesar:
Booked on the reviews of travel advisors and for a 'experience'. Owner was surly and not very welcoming. Eat well, but not amazing for one and a half hours waiting for a tiny piece of fish with a salad. I know the cooking cows... always fresh, but all appetizers are cold and basically only need assembly and titivation, desserts are the same. The cook came out after the service and went to every table for accolades!!!... View all feedback.

Looking for a nice Monday dinner we were happy to find that Cesar’s soon opened. Stephanie was so helpful to explain the decisions she prepared this night. Although she said there would be some surprises that there... out. We had a Chèvre roti starter nested on roasted bread in Mesclun counter with goat milk glacier, then we had another main. All were excellent, including black beef from Carmargue, and a trio of filled vegetables. The ones we were braided about were lamb, which was tender and tender with a marinade that tasted from fresh herbs, red wine, and we think cinnamon. A bottle of a local red wine complemented everything without overwhelming. And it was also delicious with the dark chocolate sorbet. The other desserts we had were a rum raisin pudding ice cream combination and a parfait including (Kastanien-)Crème de Marron. Very recommended. I wish we stayed longer in Bonnieux to eat again.
If food is not just a food, but a wonderful creation. If wine is a drop of gods nectar. When the sunset is like a fireworks. If there is no menu, but guide through all tastes, colors and smells that the house offers. Bravo!

Passing this day in this restaurant where we were very well welcomed. good value for money if you take advantage of the slate displayed formulas. very good dessert salad at 19 €. dish of the day (an excellent lamb square) plus a dessert to 32 €. wine, a local rosé was also excellent. Where it's going, it's when the man I think is the boss reprimands an employee, reproaching him not to be pointless and that without any discretion! It was obviously not a very good day for him because the payment of the invoice did not happen either without a couac and without a certain palpable tension within the team. arrived curious, we were delighted by our meal (which we would have noted "very good" or even excellent) but left on a very mixed impression. pity, especially since the rest of the staff was smiling and pleasant.
