Perfect location in the corner of the central square. Very popular with locals and visitors alike. Good traditional food in large portions seved quickly. Highly recommended

Don´t expect particular delicacies of the cuisine; you can, however, have authetic regional food, seriously prepared and in most cases delicious, and a good selection of beers. In addition, you find a warm atmosphere, a friendly service and a colourful mixture of local and foreign...guests

The pork escalope cooked Vienna style with fried potatoes, cranberry and mixed salad hit the spot for E Plenty of food and well cooked. Good plate of mixed vegetables which were very good. Enjoy the history. It is the oldest beer house in town...situated alongside the town hall. It was destroyed in but rebuilt into something approximating the original design. Note that Ludwig van Beethoven danced here with his first girl friend

Great atmosphere, backed up by lovely food and good service. This is a traditional German bar and restaurant. The prices are reasonable, the wholesome food is tasty and the service attentive. A great family night out..

A German friend took me to this place for dinner, as an example of real regional German food. It was pretty great, even for a marginal vegetarian like me: the noodles, the potato pancake, the spinachandcheese... Ok, not lowcal but still fun. My friends had...the wurst and sauerbraten and whatnot, and they seemed happy with it. Good regional beer, too, served in these great little glasses so you can meter your intake a bit better than with those huge steins. And apparently these folks have been serving it up since so they've had a long time to get it right. it's got the local stamp of approval too: by pm the place was packed. And the decor was great carved wood paneling, ceilings adorned with old painted decoration all very cool. Go there
