PROS: Monica was an exceptional server. She was friendly, competent, kept the meal at a reasonable pace. My short ribs were good. We liked that Monica gave us the opportunity to turn off strengths that were not obvious on the menu. The wine list was good and our selection was very good. We were a group of 10, and the food was outstanding. Each of us had our own checks, and the waitress managed everything perfectly.
However, there were some drawbacks. The NY Strip Steak was cooked as requested (rare), but the meat was exceptionally tough—one of the hardest pieces I’ve ever encountered. Monica urged us to return it, but the replacement was only slightly different, as it was simply cooked a bit more, which wasn't necessary. Overall, this is a decent restaurant, but until they improve the quality of their steak, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
This is one of our favorite places in the area. It's perfect for date nights, and they have a lovely little outdoor seating area. The food is outstanding, and they handle my gluten-free requests with care. I highly recommend the French onion soup—it's a solid 10/10 and can be made gluten-free. We always have a great dining experience here!
