Contribute FeedbackRoy's offers a vibrant dining atmosphere that has garnered both praise and criticism from guests. While some dishes, like the butterfish and Mahi Mahi, received compliments for their flavor, others found the food inconsistent, with reports of overcooked vegetables and underwhelming portion sizes. Service, too, has varied, from attentive and friendly to disappointingly slow. Guests have highlighted a valuable prefixed menu option, often overlooked by staff, which offers great value for a complete meal. Despite mixed experiences, many cherish the restaurant for special occasions and as a destination for tasty cuisine, enjoyable ambiance, and memorable service.
Hard to believe so very few people there on a Friday night. Butterfish and Mahi mahi were good, but served with dry white rice and one baby bok choy for $50 each. Just over priced for food.
The restaurant always exceeds expectations. It was a special occasion for us. The food and service were exceptional.
Lots of great fish on the menu and the service is efficient and friendly. They have a happy hour which seems quite popular and their cocktails are imaginative. If the weather permits, there is a nice outdoor area to have dinner. The wine list is really mediocre though.
We celebrated our anniversary at Roy's and it was a very special evening. We were seated at a cozy table, given an anniversary card, treated to a special dessert, and received exceptional service from Zane. The food was delicious - I enjoyed the special salad while my husband had the pre fixe menu ($49) and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning!
Kelly our server, was amazing as always! The food, service, and overall experience was great! This place never disappoints us and highly recommend to try if you have never been.
