The rooms were nearly brand new and extremely comfortable. The food was simply delicious. We've already made plans to return this year and are even considering making it an annual tradition!

The food came in heat-and-serve containers, a... read more We ordered our family Thanksgiving meal as a takeout from the Dinner Bell, and it was ready exactly when promised. The food came in heat-and-serve containers, and after just 10 minutes in the oven, we were ready to eat. The meal was outstanding, and the portion sizes were just right, leaving us with plenty of leftovers for later. Whether dining in or taking out, we always enjoy our meals here. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal after a day spent at the lake or exploring the local trails in Bonfield, Ontario.

Waited with our baby in the restaurant for an hour and 15 minutes for fried food and never got it. Meanwhile, the table that ordered 15 minutes after us all had their food before we left. We asked for it to go as it was getting close to the baby 's bed time and she was starting to fuss(with good reason). We got the food home (1 minutes up the road) and my wrap was so soggy and impossible to even eat as a wrap. The lettuce was brown and soggy. There were literally 2 people in there when we sat down and I was told that it took so long because they had so many orders . We went about a month ago for pickup. I got there for our pickup time and I was told it would be a few minutes. Fine, no big deal. Well a few minutes turned into 30 minutes, which again, is getting to be past our baby 's bed time. The chef came out and told me she forgot to turn the fryer on. Why tell me it would be a few minutes when you knew this? We thought we would give them a second chance tonight but that was obviously a mistake and that 's just how it is here. Bad service and soggy food. The best part is that the manager was apparently there and didn 't even bother to come talk to me or attempt to apologize. I wouldn 't waste your time and money going here or ordering take out. It 's too bad because it 's so close to home and we thought it would be our regular go to restaurant. I also want to add that the place is not very clean so I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. If you 're going to serve that soggy food, clearly your standards are not very high and it shows.
