I would not recommend getting the Caesar salad again. It was mostly lettuce and small pieces of tomato, with a few fried chicken pieces scattered on top. The portion was not very generous. I also paid an extra $2.50 for a slice of toast. However, my friend ordered the pesto grilled cheese and it was delicious! View all feedback.

This restaurant was different than we anticipated. You place your order at the counter and then there is a seating area to enjoy your meal. I highly recommend trying the Josh and Veggie Bowl - It exceeded my expectations and left me pleasantly surprised and full. View all feedback.
Every item we’ve ordered has been absolutely delicious! The ingredients always are fresh and high quality. Our favorites are the Vermonter breakfast sandwich, Workhorse sandwich, the Bahn Mi, and the onion rings. The staff is so friendly and our orders are always made to perfection whether calling ahead or ordering in person. The outdoor seating by the river is also a plus. A must visit to anyone in the area!
Workhorse café catered the rehearsal dinner for my son and daughter-in-law. The food was prepared and ready for when we needed it. It came with everything I needed since it was a destination wedding and the reviews from all the people were wonderful there was plenty of food and no one went away hungry. Thank you
Just had a Workhorse Cafe Veggie Wrap that was absolutely DELICIOUS! And that says a LOT coming from me, as I generally find vegetarian sandwiches to be bland and lame. Not this one, though! And the staff are fun, helpful, and hard-working. Great job, Workhorse. Great job!
Great food! For such a small space, these people make incredible food, they offer great service, exciting menu, and they move quickly! , I would definitely recommend this place! We went for breakfast, however it looks like they have a fantastic lunch menu as well.
Simply amazing ? Best sandwich I've ever had. The portions are huge, I highly recommend the smoked Turkey, which was smoked onsite. Quaint inside, but there is outside seating as well.
