Description

Nestled on a busy street in Bondi, this cozy Thai restaurant offers good food at normal prices compared to others in the area. While not standing out, the food is still enjoyable. Some reviewers noted the large portion sizes and great value, especially for the $10 lunch deal. Others praised the flavorful dishes and wide variety on the menu. While some experienced slow service or incorrect opening hours, the overall consensus is positive, with many recommending the place for delicious, authentic Thai food. Although the service may not be perfect, the comforting and satisfying meals make this a staple option for locals seeking tasty comfort food.

This is an excellent spot for tasty, genuine, and high-quality Thai cuisine. They offer a wide selection of dishes and also have special menu items and suggestions for those looking to explore new flavors. I highly recommend trying the crispy noodles and soft shell crab. The service, food, and atmosphere are all fantastic.

This is a BYOB restaurant that I would recommend to locals seeking comforting and satisfying food, especially in the evening. The menu is extensive, which may make choosing a dish difficult since there are no pictures. The restaurant looks larger than it is due to a mirror on the back wall, creating a cozy atmosphere. However, the service was lacking as we had to repeat our order and follow up on it after a long wait. Additionally, we were asked to leave before closing time after finishing our meal. Despite these issues, I am changing my rating from a 3 to a 4 after a return visit. The food was extremely comforting and satisfying on a cold night, making it a potential go-to spot for locals.

Today, I was craving rice so I decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I found that the opening hours were a bit misleading as I usually just check on this app. I arrived at 11:55 and noticed there were no customers inside. I assumed I was the first one there, but then I saw the staff eating at the back of the restaurant. A few seconds later, the staff informed me that they don't open until 12, and she also told a couple who had just arrived. Hopefully, they update their business hours on Zomato soon. I ordered money bags for an appetizer, and they were large. When I sliced one open, I found more vegetables than minced meat inside, but it was decent. The chicken fried rice took a while to arrive, but it was tasty. Since I was dining alone, I couldn't finish the entire meal. I appreciated that they had seasoning on the tables, so I didn't need to ask for anything else. Maybe I'll try Thai fish sauce next time for extra flavor. Overall, it was a good meal.

FANTASTIC thai food. we ordered a pad thai (you can't not order a pad thai if out eating thai and a snowpea stir fry. OH GOOD LORD the stir fry. we forgot the pad thai after trying it. you could taste the freshness in the ingredients. would definetely come back! (also, the thai place in front doesnt have a license and the glass of white wine pairs too nicely with the food! .
