While the location is fantastic and the tables outside are hard to find, the food upstairs in Ravessi is impudently over-controlled and aptly underwater. Will not be back to the meal. View all feedback.
Friendly staff and a beautiful location, but unfortunately it is another of these places where the offered service (must order at the bar) do not match the menu about the offer or the environment. If you meal alone, there is no choice when you leave your meal unattended if you want another drink or similar to like. The food was very nice. You just have to go with a buddy.
At our first visit to Bondi a lunch is stopped. Seat upstairs in the restaurant. What a view! Beautiful overlooking Bondi Beach. Grief Ordered the chicken and lime dumplings to share, and they were fantastic ... fresh and hot. So much taste in the chili sauce. Grief Had the American pork pizza pulled to share for Main, and it was just as delicious. The food was $ 40 for both courses ... I find that a favorable price for a waterfront restaurant is reasonably priced in a busy tourist area. Grief Service friendly and did not have to wait long for food.
Food here is pretty decent. I like to come here for a light snack and a drink after a hot day on the beach. It is always humming with people, so they do not come here to expect a "calm". Loved her assortment of simple but filling salads. The service was slow, but then it is so busy again?
Easily the worst barservice that has ever been experienced in the world ... a lot of travel !! Grief Bartender could not indeed disturb, clearly not enjoys. A clear thank you ... If you will work in a service business - especially in front of one of the best beaches in the world - hello - a smile - can I help you? I just want your money and just go ... not for me

My partner and I had been eating at classy restaurants around Sydney harbour all week and just visited Bondi for some R&R. We were just hoping for a half decent meal and decided to give Ravesi's a go. In my honest opinion, this was the best food we had in Sydney, (western food, we did eat copious amounts of amazing Thai food which I cant really compare) and in fact anywhere that I can remember, for a very long time. I had a Prawn and zucchini pappardelle. The prawns tasted as if they had leapt out of the Tasman sea into the pan moments ago, the zucchini as if it had uprooted itself from the neighbours organic garden, and the tomatoes as if they were grown by my grandad in the days when there was dirt, and the pasta as if Mama Borelli had just stoneground the flour yesterday. Really it was quite a simple dish but done to perfection. My partner had a... read more
