Just 5 minutes walk from the city centre around Plaza Duarte and close to Plaza Kultura you will find the beautiful and local restaurant Freddy, famous for its local cuisine: empanada, it is like a pasta or pasta filled with cheese or chicken or other. But they also have a wide range of other fast foods such as pizza and French fries. You can also order regular meal from any kind of meat. And they make it fresh and good! The restaurant itself has two levels: the lower for all self-service-emmanada-locals and the upper level with waiters and put tables and better surroundings... but the price is equal! There empanas are huge, I visited from NYC and our empanadas are very small I ordered 2 thinking it would be small I was not able to eat all 2

Great Granadilla batida and Yaroa, the bollos used to be better but quality of food is down

The specialty here is the patelitos, excellent. The pizza is made with a sweet sauce. Alex was great.
