Located on the property of the island's former cinema, Erik built his home and distillery here after falling in love with Bonaire in 1991. Using his engineering knowledge, he started a small company specialized in distilling the local kadushi plant. Erik has created six different types of liquor, each dedicated to a different island in the Antilles. His offerings include kadushi and lemon for Bonaire, aloe and cherries for Aruba, guanábana for Curaçao, Statia for Sint Eustatius, cinnamon for Saba, and a special edition with orange for Holland. In addition to these unique creations, Erik also produces whiskey, rum, and vodka using his handcrafted methods. He has found peace and tranquility in Bonaire, making it his home and the perfect place to showcase his passion for distilling. Photos: Raymar Velásquez @raymarven
