Chooksy's - BOMADERRY

I ordered the cut box and all the carvings were well-cooked. However, this place specializes in chicken dishes and their cooking skills could be improved.

The food was decent, but I found the older woman at the register to be quite unpleasant to deal with. I presume she is the owner, as no staff member would interact with customers in the manner that I witnessed.

Got dinner from here, burger option were great but they really big not the fill but the roll it’s like 6 slices of bread, thought we were getting chicken strips but ended up with chicken breast cut up and crumbed ok cause I paid $6.00...for 3 pieces but not chicken strips chips are great.

Fabulous tasting burgers that are rather large.......we get take away, go home and cut it in half!! With a small serve of chips it is plenty for both of us. Always trucks stopped there as it is on the highway away from the commercial area,...so always plenty of parking, off street for cars, on street for big trucks. Give it a try, I doubt if you will be disappointed!!

My husband went to the restaurant at noon and requested chips without salt. However, he received chips with a high amount of salt on them, reminiscent of salty mountains. This experience reminded us of why we have not visited this restaurant in the last 3 or 4 years. We will definitely not be returning. Even McDonald's is a better option.
