Wok Star Chinese Take Away Bolton

I ordered 2 meals at 7:30pm and was told it would take 45 minutes for delivery. However, the food arrived at 7:48, which makes me doubt that both meals were freshly cooked and delivered in just 18 minutes. I didn't eat much of the food due to concerns and ended up getting severe food poisoning. I suspect that the leftovers may have been simply warmed up. It was a terrible experience and I will definitely not be ordering from this restaurant again. I advise others to avoid it at all costs.

Ordered at 18:59, currently sat here at 21:30 without the food we ordered. Spent over £80 and was repeatedly lied to about where our order is. Despite receiving a message saying it was on its way. Nothing. I’m fuming. The lady on the phone apologised and said we can get 10% off the next order… as if we would ever order again. They should not accept orders if they cannot fulfil them satisfactorily. If I had gone into the takeaway, would I still be sat there over 2 hours later? Doubt it. Despicable service. Refused a refund. I’ll be reporting to trading standards

I used the delivery service through Just Eat and had to call three times and send a text through Just Eat, but the driver never responded. The order was placed at 7:10 PM but didn't arrive until 8:59 PM. When I asked the driver why it was so late, he said he had just started his shift and didn't know. It seems like they lied about the order being on the way when I called.

Just ordered for the 1st time, delivery was on time, best Chinese takeaway we've had for a long time. Would order again and recommend.

The veggie banquet at this restaurant was excellent. The food was delivered promptly and the Spicy Black Bean sauce was amazing - sweet and sour. The starters were great and overall the meal was very satisfying. Thank you.
