Camel One Original - Bolton

This restaurant in Bolton serves one of the best Namak Mandi Karahi dishes. The meat was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. We also tried the mixed grill, and my favorite was the Lamb Tikka, which was incredibly tender. The staff was excellent, and I highly recommend bringing along friends and family for a fantastic meal.

We stopped for a late-night meal and found the overall quality of the food to be average. The fish we ordered seemed to be not fresh. The portions were small considering the price. We were charged for a full portion even though we ordered half of something. We decided not to argue about it. Be prepared to pay a hefty price for your meal, possibly even as much as a whole camel.

The food was decent, but I had high hopes for this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately, the food was brought out with too much time in between dishes. I prefer to have all my food together, but apparently that is not how they do things here. The lamb chops were small and overcooked, and the chili sauce was extremely spicy. I enjoy hot food, but this was too intense. They should consider reducing the amount of chilies used in their dishes.

Poor services, stood feeling uncomfortable as 4 men just watched me. 2 men making kebabs without gloves at the counter. Took my order and said 10 minuets, so I waited outside. Came back after 15mins and order still not done! Lots of orders for takeaway delivery just left under the counter. And more orders were piling on. I Had to wait a further 15 minuets when I was asked my order again ! Ordered chicken madras £9, 3x naan £3, Rice £3, And charged £15! For prawn curry which was half filled shrip curry! Both curries were half filled in the smaller containers! Disappointed with the service and food
