We decided to stop by this restaurant after touring the castle. At first glance of the outside menu, we noticed breakfast sandwiches. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised to find delicious thick-cut ham, not the thin watery kind. Despite my daughter's initial request for a sausage roll, we all ended up ordering three ham sandwiches instead. They were so tasty that the children didn't leave a single bite uneaten.... They were so tasty that the children didn't leave a single bite uneaten. The waitress who served us was very friendly, and we found the meal to be good value for the money.
This sandwich shop is a fantastic find. The bacon sandwiches are absolutely delicious, and according to my daughter, they are loaded with so much bacon it's like half a pig on them! I highly recommend this place to anyone.
This charming little restaurant offers a wide variety of options despite its small size. The place is very clean and has a great menu selection. Whether you prefer white bread, brown bread, wholemeal bread, small cobs, or large cobs, buttered or plain, toasted or untoasted, the choices are almost endless. And that's not even mentioning the fillings, which are also plentiful. Their breakfast cobs are a great deal, with options like bacon, sausage, egg, and mushroom for less than £3. Their lunch menu is just as good, with options like a Ham and egg salad with beetroot, pineapple, and cheese for less than £3. The ham is cooked by the owner himself, ensuring that it is always fresh and lean. The staff are friendly and always know what their regulars want. This place is perfect for a delicious and affordable lunch.
