Osteria La Fontana - BOLOGNA

This was the one of the shortest menus I seen in my three weeks in Italy and probably all the better for it. I had strichetti with sausage sauce and peas followed by Ox cheek and additional vegetables. The best ox cheek I've eaten. Helpful friendly service and excellent tasty food.

New management for this traditional Osteria (one of Bologna's oldest, dated back to XIV century! , with amazing quality of food and service. Traditional Bolognese food, with local ingredients, top notch products from local area. Wide selection of top class wines from whole Italy. DON'T MISS: Tagliatelle al ragù (maybe best in town! Bill is fair, satisfaction is priceless!

Went here last minute, great service, very friendly and professional at the same time. The food was of great quality, delicious!
