Food is lovely an... read more Fantastic spot for lunch in Bologna. A chance to try as much traditional Italian foods as you like. There’s meats, salads and everything else. Food is lovely and for €11 a bargain, which includes fizzy or still water too. Really nice to come here for “picky bits” while it is so HOT and didn’t fancy a full pasta dish. Would definitely recommend.

Choosing food from the buffet was like playing culinairy russian roulette with food being either cold enough to give someone brainfreeze or grilled to the extent that you 'll break your teeth on it. Warm vegetable options were drenched in oil, and meat skewers were topped off with a piece off charred meat that would better fill the function of charcoal sketching tool than food. A Gastronomical disaster. After confronting the barstaff about the very poor quality of the food, they simply remarked that is not our problem . Furthermore, they pointed at pathetic looking microwaves in the corner to warm my cold stale food, as if that would negate the pain i felt in my jaw from chewing on their food. I Must however commend them on their ability to serve botteled water, which is about the only positive thing i have to say about their service. AVOID AT ALL COST.

At aperitivo time, by ordering a drink with a few euro's extra you get access to an extended all-you-can-eat buffet (min 9€ per drink). However to start with, you get a plate with filled with tasteless hi-carbs food to kill your appetite. Afterwards you can go to the buffet to select other food (mostly cold). So if you are really hungry and not selective on what you eat, this is the place to be.

We ordered Capari Spritz and they tried to give us cheaper (very bad) liquor. The only way you can get the real thing is to ask for the manager and explain the issue. I really do not like when businesses try to trick you for such basic things. Would NOT reccomand, there's plenty of better places in Bologna!
