small but bono restaurants. We were in five, and we all took the same dish, that is the juke-box burger. the food was very good, the beer was good and the environment was very nice, with a very good atmosphere for a night with friends. The only thing is a fairly small choice on the menu, and also the cocktails that to each one is a little too expensive for the quantity you drink. for the rest though I recommend it, a... What jaderises doesn't like about Jukebox Cafe:
We came here because Osteria Dell 'Orsa was packed and the line infinite, so their staff told us to go there since the pasta dishes were the same. Indeed, they do share some kinds of pasta, but not the daily pasta menu: if you don 't know how Osteria dell 'Orsa works, they basically have 3/4 different kinds of pasta/soup that change daily, whereas here there were 4 static and typical options that I had seen in the ot... We were seated here because next door Dell Orso was full. Would recommend sitting in main restaurant if dining. Pros really good natural wine, solid pastas, cool atmosphere. We had an interesting plate of Frito misto which was fried tortellini. Cons no AC so it got really hot on a muggy night, great for drinks but so so service/atmosphere for dining, bathroom lock seemed broken.
Owned by neighbouring Osteria dell'Orsa (same family, as the helpful waitress informed us), we took a table here as next door was completely full. Great atmosphere, good music, excellent food and tasty beers. All in all, a great way to experience the culture of the wonderful city of Bologna. P.S. couldn't resist having tagliatelle Bolognesa as a first course.
Can not rave enough about this place, the bar team were excellent even offering wine advice and engaging with us. Great atmosphere even on a Sunday night, shame we only found this place on our last night or would have spent more time here. Defo get your ass here if you are in Bologna. Love the jukebox you can just put what you want on!!!! Just don’t push the button that makes the world implode lol ; excellent prices on drinks too!!!
Absolutely one of the best places in bologna where you can enjoy cocktails, wines and exceptional beers. frankish and martius are very exceptional! good and very interesting cuisine collaboration with the attached tavern of the bear to be able to eat also from their menu, sitting at the jukebox while you have their good drinks
