4 years after the last review, it seems nothing has changed. they have a handful of veg* options I cannot comment on how many of them vegan or not. the baingan bharta I had been prepared without cream, but possibly with ghee. they prepared it with some inherited and even paprika I have never seen. eating was extremely blasphemy; I also ordered my dish to be extra spicy and saw that they added a few cut green and red chili paprika, but these chilis had literally no heat. for what they serve, it is too expensive. main dishes are about 6 euro, but they also consider buying rice for which they have charged me 4,50. avoid them at all costs if they really need to try indian, one of the other in bologna.

Very good and with lots of vegan choices (there is also a vegan tasting menu at 52€ .All delicious, the environment makes you look like you're in India! I did not expect a restaurant like this in the center of Bologna, beautiful discovery In photo: vegetable appetizer for two, chips, spicy lentils and full bread with potatoes (the bread has of any kind that is not vegan but they do it in vegan version if you ask.

While it's understanble to want to prioritise resturaunts serving more local cuisine, don't give this one a miss! We had the Aloo Bonde to start and for main I had the Tadka Dhal and Nimbu Chawal. All were very delicious! Important to note that the Tadka Dhal is described as being in a spicy sauce, but I would say it was less spicy and more fragrant. There is also a vegan platter (25€ per person). A bit confusing, but the Legumes and Vegetable section all the dishes are labelled as not being suitable for milk allergy sufferers. However, when I asked the waiter, he said the dhal i wanted was already vegan. So best to double check. It's a shame the rating is so low on here, it deserves a much higher one! We were the only people eating there not speaking Italian so clearly the locals like it! Side note: I was happy to find this place just to get some good food with protein via the lentils. Finding vegan Italian food with a significant amount of protein has, in my experience, been quite difficult. So a huge plus for this vegan traveller lol.
4 years after the last review it appears nothing has changed. They have a handful of veg* options I cannot comment on how many of them are vegan or not. The baingan bharta I had was without cream but possibly prepared with ghee. They prepared it with some peas and even bell peppers, which I've never seen before. The food was extremely bland; in addition I ordered my dish to be extra spicy and saw that they'd added a few cut green and red chili peppers, but those chilis had literally no heat at all. For what they serve it's also too expensive. Main dishes are are around 6 Euros, but take into account you also have to order rice, which they charged me 4.50 for...
