Demi's Sunrise Family - Bolivar

While driving on a Sunday around lunchtime, we stumbled upon this restaurant and I am so glad we did. If you are in search of delicious home-cooked meals in a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. The food was exceptional. I opted for the catfish with greens and purple hulls, which was not overly oily or salty like many fried catfish dishes. I typically avoid fried food, but this was an exception. My partner ordered a 4-vegetable plate, and each dish was perfectly seasoned. We even skipped the hot sauce, which is rare for us. We also tried the cheesesteak fries, which were fantastic. The only downside was the lack of coffee (although the tea was good) and our own fault for not saving room for dessert. Special thanks to the chef and the friendly lady who greeted us and took our order.

The pasta is absolutely delicious! You can get it with chicken or shrimp. The portion is great for the price and the leftovers taste even better after the seasonings have marinated even more! Best I've EVER had. The staff is very nice and friendly, even on their busy days and that's something very important that most restaurants staff tend to forget!
