Red Mango - Bolingbrook

The food was tasteless and didn't have any spice or heat, making it feel overly Americanized. The service was also disappointing; our server never checked in to see if we were happy with our meals, which we didn't enjoy apart from the table-side guacamole. The guacamole was incredible, and the woman who prepared it was attentive and a delight to converse with.

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend, and to our surprise, it was rather empty. We were having difficulty deciding which flavors to try and wanted to sample a few that were unfamiliar to us. When we approached the male manager for some sample cups, he responded rudely, saying we could only have them if we made a purchase. I understand that some customers might exploit free samples, but his rudeness was unexpected, especially since I asked politely. My girlfriend and I definitely didn’t look like troublemakers. As long as that manager is around, I can't recommend this place.

Based on Google Maps, this restaurant is listed as open, but there are no hours posted on-site. Reviews indicate that this has been an ongoing issue for quite a while. I think I’ll be steering clear of all Red Mango locations from now on.

My daughter and I tried the Oreo frozen yogurt, and we found it quite disappointing—we couldn't even finish it. The flavor was tangy and sour, completely unlike Oreos. I asked the cashier to take a taste to see if something was off, and she suggested it might have been mixed with the wrong flavor. After sampling it for about 30 seconds, she deemed it fine, explaining that it's not meant to be creamy like ice cream. While I didn't expect it to taste exactly like ice cream, Oreo-flavored yogurt shouldn’t have a carbonated and sour taste. Honestly, I'm not sure what we actually ended up eating.

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff are friendly and very attentive. My son had a wonderful time celebrating his birthday here. They offer a great variety of frozen yogurt flavors. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!
