Osaka Grill - Bolingbrook

My wife and I had lunch today (Saturday) at this place; not only the food and lack of selection were very much below average, this place charged us $17.50 per person, plus an inflation charge of 10% which came out to $3.50, plus regular sales tax. While $3.50 may not sound all that much; however, no where in this restaurant did they disclose this charge to their customers. They just ring it up without telling you about this charge, and it 's up to you to discover it. I just happened to notice it after I paid and sat down at the table. This is not how honest or ethical establishments operate! But the weird thing that happened is that the server comes to your table as soon as you sit down, asks you for the receipt and then takes it and keeps it. She took MY copy of the receipt! I had to call her back and firmly demand that I get my receipt back. She reluctantly gave it back to me but only after she talked to and took permission from the shyster at the front door. I don 't recommend this place because of the food, selection and dishonest behavior of their manager/cashier. Please stay away from this place!

My family has been going to this location for YEARS! The owner has always been super nice and will always continue to be very nice. The food is delicious, the service is great. Recently he has been understaffed so patience would be really nice at the current time for the Owner is doing more than one thing at a time. Thank you Osaka Grill !

Food is good enough, some of the sushi is pretty tasty. Went this past Saturday and staff was.... asleep? Tables weren't very tended to leaving empty drinks sitting a while, and the hibachi chef was nowhere to be found, even when ringing the bell.

Do NOT come here unless you’re open to foodborne illness. My friends and I weren’t even able to finish our plates. Food is 0/10. Left throw up in the parking lot. Horrible.

This place was filthy ! Food was old cold disgusting. Manager says because it was lunch time. They serve food from the days before. I was in disbelief they would actually tell u that with no shame. Pay 6 dollar more for fresh dinner food. 2hr limit. Was first last time here! Was in complete shock! No wonder if was completely empty. Poor service poor hygiene poor quality food. Disappointing
