What Tracy Dixon doesn't like about Mandy's Soul Food Kitchen:
This was my first visit. The young adult at the order window was very pleasant and professional. I got the #4, which was 2 wings, catfish filet, fries and a slice of bread. Everything was good except the chicken had way, way too much garlic in the seasoning. Fish and fries were fried perfect!! The peach cobbler was very bland. Long wait at the door to get to counter. The customer service was friendly. The food presentation was great. I ordered fried chicken, spaghetti, black eye peas, and cabbage. None of the food that i ordered tasted good. I ended up throwing it all out. Very disappointed
If you are from the south don't waste your time or money. The chicken had no flavor and had a weird taste. The shrimp was bland and didn't expect panko breading from a so called soul food restaurant. In all there is no soul or seasoning in this foodFood: 1/5

We were going to dine in but 2 young girls running around and screaming playing freeze tag in the restaurant while people are eating. Come on really. It's not a playground. Was really disappointed. Hopefully the next time I visit it will be better.
Whenever we travel my husband always wants soul food. I’m not sure why because most of the time the experience is disappointing. Mandy’s is the exception. I had smothered pork chops and my husband had oxtails and rice. Both were well seasoned and tender. The portions were large also. Even the sides of string beans, mashed potatoes and rice were good. We shared an order of banana pudding. Don’t do that. Get your own.
