Ko Sushi - Bolingbrook

I never leave reviews but wanted to leave one, ordered sushi from here last night and it was so good so much better than I expected! when I got home I also noticed they threw in something for free, not sure what it was but it was so good! highlyrecommend

Such a beautiful place. Since it's in a business park with other small local stores I was not expecting it to provide such a lovely atmosphere and quality food. We were seated right away, staff was really friendly, sushi was absolutely delicious. Woulddefinitely recommend this place!

The prices are on the higher side. I ordered a Salmon Don, but it lacked flavor and consisted of only about ten thin slices of salmon over rice. I also tried the chicken pad Thai, which had an abundance of vegetables but very few noodles, topped with a large amount of whole peanuts. The taste was quite different from traditional pad Thai. The udon noodle soup had so few noodles that it was almost negligible. Additionally, the waitress dropped one of the fried shrimp on the floor, picked it up, and took it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, she returned with what seemed to be an over-fried shrimp (I can't be sure if it was the same one that fell, but we didn’t want to take the chance and didn’t touch it). I won’t be returning.

I visited this restaurant for dinner after receiving a recommendation, and I'm so glad I did! The sashimi and sushi were incredibly fresh. We also ordered the shrimp tempura, cucumber and octopus salad, and tuna tataki, all of which were delicious. I'm excited to have found our new favorite sushi spot! We'll definitely be returning soon!

I absolutely love the lunch sushi specials! My kids, friends, and I go at least once a month, and we always enjoy the salad that comes with the three-roll special. Our favorites are the Philly, Spicy Kani, and sweet potato rolls.
